Infamy may be synonymous with her name, you may have some of her pots and pans, and she sure is crafty. I am talking about the one and only… Martha Stewart.
Most recently starring in Martha & Snoop’s Potluck Dinner Party, Stewart has found a new niche–CBD. She recently announced partnership with Canopy Growth as a company advisor. The two parties will be working on CBD-composed products for both people and animals.
Perhaps taking notes from Snoop Doggy Dog, whose own line is expected to be specifically to help treat anxiety in animals, Martha Stewart made a statement on the matter: “I am delighted to establish this partnership with Canopy Growth and share with them the knowledge I have gained after years of experience in the subject of living. I’m especially looking forward to our first collaboration together, which will offer sensible products for people’s beloved pets” (forbes).
The industry might have just found its secret weapon: Martha. She could help attract older mainstream consumers who may at first be hesitant to explore such products. Consumers who have purchased her household items and kitchenware could be the same consumers who purchase CBD products for not only their pets, but for themselves.
